Galway - August 11, 2016

Today we traveled to Galway, which is located on the west coast of Ireland.

We stopped half way and picked up coffee and hot chocolate from a little rest area.  When we arrived in Galway it was raining, and we had a chance to grab lunch before our walking tour. The streets of Galway were lined with several restaurants and shops, so it wasn't hard to find somewhere delicious to eat. After lunch, we met with Fiona for a walking tour of Galway. She walked the group through the winding roads and told us about the rich cultural history of the area.

After the tour, we had several hours to walk around and enjoy the sights and sounds of Galway. Then, we made our way back to Dublin for a lively and entertaining dinner.
