Irish History & Culture - Friday, August 4, 2016

Today was great! We had a presentation from Dr. McNamara.  He provided the history of Ireland. Each discussion was interesting, learning the good parts with the sadness that fills the history as well. 

 Afterwards we had lunch at The Buttery and it was amazing and filling!

Then we all had a tour around Dublin seeing the St. Patrick's Cathedral and all the spots in Ireland! 

The group went on a Literary Pub Crawl with actors informing us of the history of writers within Ireland. It was extremely entertaining and knowledgable!
                                              

Then we had dinner At Doheny & Newbitt's Pub with some awesome food and drinks! This first full day in Ireland has been a wonderful experience!
